Erin Duke

Erin is a second-year graduate student under Tristan L’Ecuyer and Steve Vavrus. Her research includes studying the frequency of mild weather days, nicknamed “Goldilocks Days”, in the past, present, and future, as well as identifying the economic and social influences this can have on communities.

Erin is originally from the Hudson Valley of New York and received her bachelor’s in meteorology from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Outside of academics, she loves to garden, practice karate, and foster cats!
