Join us on December 2 from 4:00-6:00 PM in Rhinelander for an Extreme Weather and Climate Services meeting hosted by the Wisconsin State Climatology Office, the Rural Partnerships Institute, and Wisconet.
About the Event:
This event is part of a series of meetings that will be hosted in rural Wisconsin communities to understand weather and climate information needs, and learn the local impacts of extreme weather events.
Listening sessions will be held where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share perspectives and experiences with extreme weather.
These sessions aim to identify the most pressing weather and climate-related questions facing local stakeholders, with a particular focus on extreme weather impacts.
Attendees will also hear presentations about the weather and climate services provided by the Wisconsin State Climatology Office and learn about Wisconet.

Audience:
This meeting is open to anyone willing to share their experiences and wanting to learn about available weather and climate resources. Individuals with backgrounds in agriculture, public health, emergency management, and conservation may be especially interested.
