Join us on December 15 and 16 at the Wisconsin Water and Soil Health Conference for a workshop on weather and climate tools and resources, and a recap of this year’s wild weather in Wisconsin.
About the Event:
The Wisconsin Water and Soil Health Conference brings together farmers, consultants, and Extension and agency staff to learn about what’s new in soil health and water quality.
The State Climatology Office will be featured in three sessions:
- Beyond the Forecast: What tools should I have in my climate toolbox? This is an ag-climate-focused breakout session discussing tools as a means for making even better decisions that will help farmers go “beyond the forecast”.
- A lunchtime presentation highlighting Wisconsin’s extreme weather in 2026.
- Let’s Talk About the Weather: This is an informal roundtable discussion. Come and chat with us about the recent weather you’ve experienced, or climate questions that have been on your mind.
Audience:
This event is for farmers, consultants, agronomists, conservation professionals, and others interested in soil health and water quality.
